Job summary

The Franklin Group in Virginia Beach is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor/Community Manager to maintain grounds and building exteriors across our multifamily properties. You will ensure curb appeal, safety, and timely upkeep, reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor or Community Manager.

The role requires hands-on maintenance, basic facilities skills, and a commitment to professional appearance and resident service. The posted salary range reflects hourly compensation for a non-exempt position.

Qualifications

• Education/experience requirements: less than high school or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Clean common, amenity and ground areas daily; water and upkeep landscaping as instructed; spread salt on public passageways to prevent ice buildup; rake, sweep, shovel as needed.
• Maintain daily upkeep of community buildings and grounds including cleaning and removing trash.
• Care, maintenance and inventory of supplies and equipment owned by the community/company.
• Assist with make-ready and miscellaneous duties as requested by Maintenance Supervisor/Community Manager.
• Maintain professional appearance and behavior at all times.
• Operate within OSHA standards and safety policies.

Education
