Job summary

The Franklin Group is hiring a Maintenance Supervisor for our Virginia Beach, VA community. You will oversee maintenance, grounds, and custodial teams, manage inventory and supplier relationships, and ensure safety and compliance across daily operations.

You will lead a team of technicians, coordinate preventive maintenance, respond to work orders, and maintain high standards for resident satisfaction and property upkeep.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 3–5 years related experience or training.
• HVAC certification is required.
• CAMT certification is recommended; Fair Housing Certification within 1 day of hire.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance, custodial, and grounds operations and inventories.
• Respond promptly to work orders and make-readies.
• Schedule and perform preventative maintenance to ensure facility reliability.
• Ensure OSHA safety standards are met and enforced.
• Directly supervise maintenance staff and coordinate with vendors.
