Job summary

Monarch Investment is seeking a Groundskeeper for the Arbors of Grandview team in South Kansas City, MO. The position is full-time and on-site, with duties spanning lawn care, exterior maintenance and assisting in tenant-ready preparations.

Experienced candidates with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation will join a team offering competitive pay and a robust benefits package including insurance and paid time off.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience related to groundskeeping duties.
• General knowledge of groundskeeping and landscaping.
• Ability to safely operate equipment.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Daily trash removal from all public exterior areas.
• Spring and Fall cleanup.
• Care, maintenance and inventory of all supplies and equipment.
• Light/basic tree and bush trimming.
• Assist maintenance staff as requested, including preventative maintenance and moving appliances.
• Snow removal (When applicable).
• Assist in coverage of a 24/7 emergency cell phone with other team members.

Groundskeeper | Kansas City, MO | Full-Time | On-Site | Multifamily Housing | Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour

Monarch Investment is seeking a Groundskeeper to join our Arbors of Grandview team inSouth Kansas City, MO. There are plenty of grounds related jobs out there but why just settle for another job when Monarch is pounding at your door with keys to an amazing career growth opportunity!

Duties include maintaining of the lawns, driveways, parking lots, curbs, dumpster areas, exterior hallways, or any other public areas, maintenance of property flowerbeds, plants, and grass areas. They also assist the Maintenance Manager in making minor repairs in areas such as basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, dry walling, exterior structural, and appliance. This position is also indirectly involved in getting apartments ready for new tenants.

Arbors of Grandview Apartments, 6731 East 119th Street, Grandview, MO 64030

Schedule

Monday-Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, On-Call snow removal as needed

Responsibilities

• Responsible for daily trash removal from all public exterior areas
• Spring and Fall cleanup
• Responsible for care, maintenance and inventory of all supplies and equipment owned by the property and/or the management company related to grounds work.
• Responsible for light/basic tree and bush trimming
• Assists maintenance staff as requested, including but not limited to, preventative maintenance to buildings, moving appliances, inspections or assisting in getting apartments ready for new tenants.
• Snow removal (When applicable)
• Assist in coverage of a 24/7 emergency cell phone with other team members
