The Groundskeeper performs landscaping tasks to maintain the facility's grounds.

Scope of Responsibilities

1. Mows lawns, trims weeds, and rakes leaves as assigned.
2. Pick up and remove trash prior to mowing a designated area.
3. Empty trash and recycling containers.
4. Trims bushes, shrubs, and hedges.
5. Prepares soil and plants flowers, bushes, hedges, or shrubs.
6. Plants trees and prunes them when necessary.
7. Cuts and removes trees as needed.
8. Applies fertilizer, pesticides, and herbicides as directed.
9. Operates a variety of maintenance equipment such as shovels, rakes, or saws.
10. Operates power equipment and vehicles like tractors, mowers, chainsaws, electric clippers.
11. Performs snow removal tasks during winter months, including shoveling and operating snowplows.
12. Performs routine maintenance on power equipment.
13. Performs interior and exterior painting as required.
14. Performs other related duties as assigned.
