A leading retirement community is seeking a full-time groundskeeper to maintain the facility's outdoor areas. We are looking for a full-time 40 hours a week groundskeeper. This position is benefit eligible and is Monday through Friday 7:30am to 4:00pm starting wage of $18.50 per hour.

The groundskeeper is responsible for lawn and garden care of the facility and to help promote a healthy culture for other residents and staff. Experience with all aspects of irrigation maintenance is preferred. This position will help maintain our communities grass, common areas, parking lots, and yards. Using equipment such as lawnmowers, power washers, and general landscaping equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS:
Works outdoors; must be able to stand/walk for 100% of the work day; must be able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs. independently; must be able to push and pull lawn equipment weighing up to 85 lbs. independently; must be able to bend, stoop, reach, and balance frequently throughout the work day. Must be able to see, hear, and speak. Employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and adverse weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Applies fertilizers and herbicides to campus lawns, shrubs.
