Job summary

WeCare Centers is seeking a dependable and hands-on Facilities & Grounds Technician to support the appearance, safety, and upkeep of our properties both indoors and outdoors in the PA region. The role involves painting, landscaping, snow removal, and general maintenance with travel between PA buildings.

The ideal candidate enjoys independent work, stays active, and takes pride in visible results. Prior experience and a valid driver's license are preferred, with a willingness to respond to

Qualifications

• Previous experience in landscaping, painting, property maintenance, or facilities maintenance preferred.
• Experience operating snowplow and landscaping equipment preferred.
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining properties.
• Ability to perform physical work, including lifting, bending, climbing, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Willingness to respond to snow and ice conditions outside of normal business hours when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Perform interior and exterior painting, touch-ups, and minor repairs.
• Maintain landscaping, including mowing, trimming, weeding, mulching, and general grounds cleanup.
• Perform snow plowing, shoveling, salting, and ice removal during winter weather.
• Maintain sidewalks, parking areas, entrances, and exterior property areas.
• Complete minor building and property maintenance projects as assigned.
• Assist with seasonal property preparation and cleanup.
• Safely operate landscaping, snow-removal, and maintenance equipment.
• Identify maintenance or safety concerns and report needed repairs.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
• Travel to assigned locations as needed.
• Assist the Facilities/Maintenance team with special projects.
• Travel to different buildings within the PA region.
