Lucas Systems seeks a skilled Facilities Technician to maintain our on-site facilities in good condition. The role covers groundskeeping, general repairs across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry, plus routine system maintenance and record-keeping.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in building trades, a valid driver's license, and a hands-on work ethic. Full-time with benefits including 401(k), PTO, and insurance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of building trades or building maintenance experience.
• Ability to perform general repairs and routine maintenance.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Groundskeeping and general repairs, including painting, electrical, plumbing and HVAC tasks.
• Routine inspection of buildings and grounds to identify needed repairs.
• Troubleshoot issues to determine necessary repairs and document outcomes.
• Track maintenance, repair and warranty records and reports.
• Perform routine maintenance on building systems such as filters in water sources and HVAC.
• Order supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Technician who takes pride in the performance of a diverse set of hands‑on duties to keep facilities in top shape!

Full‑time - - Benefits available: 401(k) including Matching Contribution; Paid Time Off; Insurance

Duties/Responsibilities

• Groundskeeping – landscaping including but not limited to weed-whacking, edging, mulching, leaf and snow removal
• General repairs that do not require a specialized technician e.g., Painting, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, General Carpentry
• Routine inspection of buildings and grounds to determine needed repairs
• Troubleshooting issues to determine necessary repairs
• Tracking maintenance, repair and warranty records and reports
• Performing routine maintenance on building systems e.g., changing filters in water sources and HVAC inside the building
• Ordering supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance
• Performing other related duties as assigned

Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience.

• Current valid driver’s license is required.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods standing and walking
• Capable of performing sustained manual labor
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time

Work Schedule

• 8-hour shift (Daylight)
• Monday through Friday
• Ability to respond to building-related emergencies outside of normal business hours on rare occasions, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption.
