Job summary

Equip-Enterprises, Inc. seeks a Rest Area Attendant to manage grounds maintenance and on-site custodial tasks at a designated location. You will keep rest areas clean and safe, using appropriate equipment and following contract specs.

You will assist with floor maintenance, report issues to the Supervisor, and ensure timely timecards and safety procedures are followed. Requires reliability, basic English, and landscaping know-how.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• One year of relevant experience.
• Read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Knowledge of landscaping methods and tools.
• Ability to operate or learn riding mower, weed eater, edger, chain saw, stump grinder, hedge trimmer, leaf blower, pressure washer, and other basic tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial and grounds contract work at the assigned site.
• Clean bathrooms, floors, break rooms, and remove trash.
• Maintain landscaping, mow lawns, trim hedges, and plant flowers.
• Assist with floor stripping, waxing, and carpet cleaning.
• Report repairs to Supervisor and document timecards.
• Follow OSHA safety rules and proper chemical handling.
