Paycom - ATS is seeking a Safety Rest Area Attendant to maintain landscaping and ensure rest area cleanliness under supervision. The role requires reliable, physically capable individuals who can operate a range of groundskeeping tools and follow safety procedures.

Priority may be given to persons with disabilities per contract; incentive bonuses up to $300 are possible, with opportunities to contribute to a compassionate culture while supporting travelers.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least one year of relevant landscaping or grounds experience.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Knowledge of landscaping methods and tools.
• Ability to determine tools and equipment needed to do a job.
• Ability to operate or learn to operate riding mower, weed eater, grass edger, chain saw, stump grinder, hedge trimmer, leaf blower, pressure washer and other basic tools.
• Ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with your body, arms, and legs.
• Ability to see details at close range.
• Ability to lift 25–50 lbs.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods in inclement weather.
• Ability to work safely and efficiently.
• Ability to operate large equipment per procedures and safety regulations.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements.
• Ability to work in awkward postures.

Responsabilités

• Perform on-site custodial and grounds work to meet contract specifications.
• Clean bathrooms, sweep and mop floors, clean lunch/break rooms, collect trash, dust, clean windows.
• Mow lawn, rake, leaf blow, trim shrubs, and maintain grounds.
• Inform Supervisor of maintenance issues promptly.
• Provide feedback on contract success or problems.
• Submit reports, timecards, and paperwork to Supervisor.
• Ensure health and safety of staff and visitors and follow safety procedures.
• Use protective equipment as needed and report equipment damage.
• Complete other duties as assigned by Supervisors.
