Job summary

Liberty Military Housing in Maryland/Quantico is seeking a Porter/Groundskeeper to maintain grounds, buildings, and amenities in a multi-family community. You will operate hand and power tools, perform routine cleaning, assist with make-ready units, handle trash removal, and support service technicians while upholding safety and quality.

This role offers opportunities for growth, an hourly wage of $18.00–$20.00, generous benefits, and earned time off as part of a comprehensive compensation

Qualifications

• Entry level to 6 months of general custodial/maintenance experience.
• Ability to use hand and power tools and cleaning equipment applicable to job requirements.
• Communication and effective interaction with co-workers, managers, vendors or residents; sufficient to exchange or convey information and to give and receive work direction.
• Basic computer skills preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of grounds, amenities, building exteriors, pool and surrounding areas.
• Remove trash daily from grounds, office areas, homes and perimeter.
• Detail interior and exterior areas with standard cleaning tools.
• Assist with snow shoveling and make-ready tasks for vacant homes.
• Assist with repairs, installation of screens and fixtures; transport items as needed.
• Help with cleaning and maintaining storage and shop areas.
• Support Service Technicians when needed and follow safety procedures.
• Travel to regional locations for work as required.
