Job summary

Liberty Military Housing in Virginia seeks a Porter/Groundskeeper to maintain grounds, buildings, amenities and surrounding areas in a multi-family community. You will operate tools and equipment, perform cleaning tasks, and support safety and satisfaction standards while delivering exemplary service.

Ideal candidates have 0–6 months custodial experience, can use hand and power tools, hold a valid driver's license, and are able to lift up to 65 lbs.

Qualifications

• Entry-level to 6 months of general custodial/maintenance experience.
• Basic understanding of grounds maintenance.
• Ability to use hand and power tools and cleaning equipment.
• Good communication with coworkers, managers, vendors or residents; able to follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine cleaning and maintenance of grounds, amenities, building exteriors and surrounding areas.
• Removes trash daily from grounds and community perimeter.
• Details interior/exterior areas with cleaning tools to keep entry areas clean.
• May assist with snow shovelling and make-ready tasks as needed.
• Operates vehicles to travel to various locations for work.
