Job summary

Sunset Senior Communities in Michigan is seeking a grounds crew team member to maintain safe, inviting outdoor spaces across campuses. You will operate lawn care equipment and assist with seasonal needs, including snow and ice removal.

This part-time role runs 28 hours per week, with occasional weekends and holidays. The team emphasizes a supportive, Christian-guided workplace where reliability, care for residents, and teamwork matter daily.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Driver's License.
• Willingness to learn and contribute to a positive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe, clean, and inviting grounds for residents, families, and team members
• Landscaping the grounds: tree limb removal, maintaining flower beds, apply fertilizer and other needs for green spaces
• Keep walkways clear, well-maintained, and accessible from debris/ice
• Support seasonal needs, including snow and ice removal
• Operate heavy equipment such as: lawn mowers, trimmers, leaf blowers, hedge trimmers, plows and other outdoor landscaping equipment
