Job summary

Sunset is seeking a part-time Grounds Crew Team Member to maintain safe, inviting outdoor spaces across our campuses in Georgetown Charter Township, MI. You will operate mowers, trimmers, leaf blowers, and other equipment, assist with seasonal snow/ice tasks, and keep walkways clear for residents, families, and staff.

You must have a valid driver's license and a willingness to learn in a supportive team environment, with a starting pay of $16.75/hour and potential for higher rates based on

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe, clean, and inviting grounds for residents, families, and team members.
• Landscaping the grounds: tree limb removal, flower bed maintenance, fertilization as needed.
• Keep walkways clear and accessible from debris/ice.
• Support seasonal needs, including snow and ice removal.
• Operate heavy equipment such as lawn mowers, trimmers, leaf blowers, hedge trimmers, plows and other outdoor landscaping equipment.

What you would do:

• Maintain safe, clean, and inviting grounds for residents, families, and team members
• Landscaping the grounds: tree limb removal, maintaining flower beds, apply fertilizer and other needs for green spaces
• Keep walkways clear, well-maintained, and accessible from debris/ice
• Support seasonal needs, including snow and ice removal
• Operate heavy equipment such as: lawn mowers, trimmers, leaf blowers, hedge trimmers, plows and other outdoor landscaping equipment

Schedule Details

• Shift: 8:30 am - 3:30 pm
• Part-time position - 28 hours per week
• Occasional weekends and holidays required- snow/ice removal as needed

Pay & Work Environment

• Starting at $16.75/hour, with higher rates considered based on experience
