Job summary

Pratum Companies is seeking a Groundsman/Porter to maintain the grounds and exterior spaces of our Newark, NJ properties. You will assist with cleaning, trash outs, painting vacant units, and basic maintenance tasks to prepare market-ready units.

The role requires physical stamina for daily property walks, adherence to safety, and a commitment to professional appearance. Prior grounds keeping experience and customer service orientation are valued.

Qualifications

• Previous grounds keeping experience preferred.
• Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends.
• Basic painting skills required.
• Customer service oriented.

Responsibilities

• Maintain grounds, amenities, dumpster area, and community buildings.
• Walk property to remove litter and debris regularly.
• Perform trash-out duties at vacated apartments daily.
• Assist with make-ready duties and painting as needed.
