Job summary

MRK Partners in Newark, DE is seeking a dedicated Porter to maintain cleanliness of all property areas and prepare vacated apartments for new residents. The role requires reliability, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel up to 10% across portfolio properties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• One year of general maintenance experience preferred.
• OSHA rules knowledge preferred.
• Must read, speak and comprehend English.
• Able to follow directions in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation required.
• Willing to travel up to 10% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Patrols property daily to identify cleaning needs and remove trash from grounds and common areas.
• Restore vacated apartments to move-in condition for new residents (clean appliances, cabinets, sinks, floors, bathrooms, windows, doors).
• Perform grounds maintenance (weed removal, mowing, snow and leaf removal).
• Clean property offices and perform janitorial duties per schedule.
• Assist maintenance technicians with preventive maintenance or work orders as needed.
