Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a maintenance technician to ensure community grounds and amenities are well-maintained and to support the service team. The role emphasizes keeping areas clean, handling make-ready tasks, and adhering to safety standards within a large, national real estate platform.

Responsibilities include performing routine upkeep, addressing work orders, and ensuring secure access and safety compliance across facilities.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required to operate a golf cart on property.
• Ability to stand, walk, and/or sit for extended periods, with bending and climbing ladders as needed.
• Able to work outside in all weather conditions and to push, pull, lift, or carry up to 25 lbs alone and 50 lbs with assistance.
• Flexible work schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Inspects the community throughout the day to remove litter, debris, and pet droppings; keeps common areas and amenities neat and free of litter.
• Removes trash and items from vacant apartments prior to make-ready; cleans and maintains storage areas.
• Completes assigned minor and routine service requests as directed by the Service Supervisor and/or Community Manager; assists the make-ready specialist.
• Changes all locks per policy and ensures pool area gates operate per codes and safety standards.
• Distributes notices and communications to residents as necessary.
• Informs supervisors of hazards or potentially dangerous situations for residents and staff.
• Demonstrates customer service by treating residents with respect and addressing maintenance complaints.
• Complies with safety policies and attends safety meetings; completes required OSHA safety training and reports incidents.
