Job summary

SST Direct is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Technician in Fayetteville, NC to join our dynamic team. You will perform lawn care tasks including mowing, weed spraying, debris removal, and operate a company truck and trailer.

The role requires travel to multiple sites, outdoor work in all seasons, a valid driver's license and the ability to lift 50 pounds. Competitive hourly pay ($20-$26) with overtime is offered.

Qualifications

• Basic experience with lawn care equipment, tools and accessories.
• Ability to drive a truck and trailer and demonstrate competency before employment.
• Ability to lift items over 50 pounds.
• Self-motivated with ability to meet a weekly site target.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all seasons.
• Basic mechanical skills.

Responsibilities

• Cutting grass and spraying weeds.
• Debris removal, including branches and tree limbs.
• A company truck and equipment provided.
• Travel to required sites; weekend work may be necessary.

Job description

DIRECT HIRE: An awesome opportunity for a Grounds Maintenance Technician to join a dynamic team.

Hourly Range: $20hr - $26hr (+OT)

Base Schedule: M-F, 7am - 4:30pm (OT inclusive), weekends as needed

Requirements:

• Basic experience with working with lawn care equipment, tools and accessories
• Must be able to drive a truck and trailer (will be required to prove competency prior to employment)
• Must have the ability to pick up items over 50 pounds
• Must be a self-motivated individual with the ability to meet a set number of job sites each week
• Must be willing to work outside throughout all seasons
• Basic mechanical stills are required
• Must be local to the Fayetteville, NC. area
• You must be 21 years and older to apply
