Job summary

Responsibilities

• Mix and apply fertilizers, herbicides, or insecticides as directed.
• Use safety equipment and PPE correctly at all times.
• Unload and load equipment and materials as needed.
• Refuel and maintain equipment and report any damage.

Lawn Crew Technician

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for assisting the Lawn Care Crew in daily operations. The employee will provide quality service that meets or exceeds our management’s expectations. All employees will possess a friendly, customer service minded attitude and will conduct themselves in a professional manor at all times.

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform all tasks of operations including but not limited to mowing, line trimming, blowing, leaf and debris removal, weeding, edging, hedging, raking and mulch installation
• Mix and spray or spread fertilizers, herbicides, or insecticides onto grass, shrubs, and trees, using hand or automatic sprayers or spreaders.
• Proper use of safety equipment and personal protective equipment.
• Unloading/loading equipment and materials
• Wash dirty equipment {including all mower decks} and return to approved storage location. Report damaged or broken equipment to management immediately.
• Fill trucks, mowers, equipment, and cans with fuel additive & fuel in preparation for the next day (or as necessary)
• Adherence to the company’s employee manual & procedures as required from all employees

Qualifications:

• Must be 18+ years old
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift 75+ lbs. consistently throughout the day
• Available to work a varied schedule (including Saturdays) in any and all adverse weather conditions. Year-round position.
• Must be able to stoop, stand and bend for 8+ hours a day.
