Job summary

Automation Personnel Services is seeking a Lawn Care Technician for a Charlotte, NC area client. You will travel across the country with a team to manage weed and vegetation overgrowth, applying herbicides and maintaining outdoor spaces. This is a direct hire with benefits from day one.

Typical schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with hours potentially varying due to weather. The role requires lifting, safety compliance, and willingness to stay on site for extended periods.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver License and compliant MVR.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and walk long distances.
• Must pass a drug test.
• Previous outdoor labor experience preferred.
• Must be willing to travel for work and stay on site.

Responsibilities

• Apply Herbicides using backpack sprayer, UTV mounted nozzles or hose system.
• Walk powerlines and spray brush as needed.
• Drive UTVs through solar fields and spray turf.
• Navigate drainage canals while handling spray hoses.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and best practices.

Lawn Care Technician

Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Lawn Care Technician for a company based in Charlotte, NC. In this role, you will have the opportunity to travel around the country and work with a team that helps customers handle their weed and vegetation overgrowth. This will be a direct hire position with a fast growing business, and you will be eligible for their internal benefits such as health care from day one.

Pay Rate

$170–$20.00 depending on experience

Schedule and Hours

Monday through Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm but hours can vary based on the weather

Lawn Care Technician Duties and Responsibilities
