Job summary

Guest Services, Inc. is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Lead in Biwabik, MN to coordinate and execute year‑round maintenance, including landscaping, lawn care, irrigation, and snow removal. The role requires 2+ years in landscaping, strong equipment skills, and a valid driver’s license. This is a hands‑on position outdoors with varying seasonal duties and responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two years landscaping experience.
• Valid driver’s license; Class A preferred.
• Ability to travel between resort locations and read/write English documents.
• Must communicate clearly in English and follow safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Train and guide grounds staff; enforce safety protocols.
• Plan seasonal landscaping tasks with the Director.
• Mow, trim, plant, prune, and delegate tasks as needed.
• Assist snow removal including plowing, sanding and salting.
• Operate and maintain landscape and snow equipment.
• Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and safety gear.
• Report maintenance needs and project updates to the Director.
• Oversee irrigation operation and proper watering.
• Keep grounds clean after events; manage trash/recycling.
• Inspect grounds and document snow removal logs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
