Job summary

Prescription Landscape in Minnesota is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Crew Lead to guide our on-site teams in delivering high-quality landscaping results. You will lead crews, perform hands-on tasks, and ensure safety and efficiency across projects.

As a senior crew member you will coordinate with clients and Account Managers, mentor staff, and drive continuous improvement while contributing to a collaborative, team‑oriented culture.

Qualifications

• Leadership and team supervision experience.
• Fundamental horticultural knowledge and landscaping practices.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather.
• Willingness to obtain Category A & E Pesticide Applicator License within one year.

Responsibilities

• Lead and guide crew members in performing grounds maintenance tasks to high-quality standards.
• Clear sites of debris in preparation for mowing, weed whipping, and edging.
• Perform landscaping tasks including weeding, pruning, and removing debris from beds and shrubs.
• Operate mowers and equipment to maintain turf and edges along curbs and walkways.
• Conduct final walkthroughs to ensure work is completed on time and to specification.
• Interface with customers and Account Managers regarding on-site operations and requests.
• Identify quality and efficiency improvements and discuss with the Production Manager.
• Arrive early to prepare for the day and share job-site notes after completion.
• Assist Production Manager in training and development of crew members.
• Document completed work with photos and conduct QA checks.
