Job summary

Prescription Landscape, Inc. is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Crew Lead in Minnesota to guide a crew and perform hands-on landscaping tasks. You will manage quality, safety, and productivity while coordinating with clients and Account Managers.

The role requires leading a team, maintaining high standards, and ensuring timely completion of projects. A valid pesticide license within a year is preferred, with opportunities for growth and advancement.

Qualifications

• Leadership capabilities to guide a crew on grounds maintenance tasks.
• Ability to communicate with clients, crew members, and supervisors.
• Willingness to obtain Category A & E Pesticide Applicator License within one year.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently and 80 lbs with assistance.
• Experience with a variety of landscaping equipment and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead crew members to perform grounds maintenance to high-quality standards.
• Prepare sites by clearing debris before mowing and edging.
• Perform weeding, pruning, and debris removal from beds and shrubs.
• Operate mowers and equipment to maintain turf and edges.
• Provide job site notes and participate in tailgate discussions.
• Interface with customers and Account Managers on-site operations.
• Identify ways to improve quality and efficiency with the Production Manager.
• Assist with training and development of crew members.
• Complete work tickets in Aspire and document tasks with photos.
