Job summary

Bigos Management Inc. in Edina, MN seeks a groundskeeper/maintenance associate to manage day-to-day cleaning and groundskeeping of the property, including common areas, entryways, and outdoor spaces.

You will perform watering, edging, leaf removal, snow shoveling in winter, and assist with maintenance tasks while upholding safety and resident relations. This role supports our employee-first culture and requires reliability, English fluency, and a willingness to work on-site.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Prior experience in maintaining grounds of a large residential property preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning and lawn care products.
• Fluent in English and skilled in oral and written communication.
• Ability to use tact, diplomacy and a clear, courteous manner when dealing with co-workers and the public.
• Decision-making, problem solving, and time management skills.
• Ability to organize tasks in order to accomplish assigned work as quickly and as efficiently as possible.
• Ability to travel for required trainings, meetings and company events.

Responsibilities

• Maintain exterior grounds and interior common areas in quality, presentable condition.
• Clean laundry rooms daily and vacuum buildings and foyers as needed.
• Check light fixtures and bulbs and clean and replace them when needed.
• Remove trash cans from common areas and prepare trash areas for pick up.
• Sweep sidewalks and curbs and shovel walkways and sand/salt icy areas in winter.
• Water, weed/prune, mulch, and occasionally plant lawns, trees, shrubs, and flowerbeds.
• Walk property at regular intervals to ensure rules are followed and property is well maintained.
• Assist with removal of abandoned property and with maintenance team as needed.
