Job summary

Casper College is seeking a Landscaping Technician I to perform groundskeeping and maintain College facilities and grounds, including mowing, pruning, irrigation, and snow removal.

You will report to the Grounds Maintenance Supervisor, work with campus staff, and be prepared for variable hours, including emergencies and snow events, with a commitment to safety and high professional standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, irrigation, or horticulture is preferred.
• Ability to perform physical labor for full shifts and overtime as needed.
• Ability to follow safety policies and operate power tools, vehicles, and machinery.

Responsibilities

• Mow and edge lawns using mowers and related tools; plant, water, and prune plantings.
• Perform grounds maintenance for athletic fields and related systems.
• Install and service irrigation systems and maintain grounds as built drawings.
• Remove trash and debris, clean drains, and maintain exterior facilities.
• Respond to safety concerns and report incidents to supervisor.
