Job summary

Casper College is seeking a Landscaping and Grounds Technician III to supervise and perform a full range of grounds maintenance tasks for campus facilities and grounds. The role includes leading a crew, planning daily work, and ensuring safety and efficiency in all activities.

The position may involve overtime or shift differential as needed and reports to the Grounds Maintenance Supervisor. This is a full-time, benefited role on campus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 5 years relevant grounds maintenance experience.
• Minimum 1 year supervisory experience with ability to organize work and others.
• Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, ADA, safety standards and codes.
• Experience with office equipment and software.
• Ability to perform physical labor for full shifts.

Responsibilities

• Supervise mowing, edging, planting, pruning, weed control, and related grounds tasks.
• Lead grounds crew and coordinate daily work assignments.
• Oversee irrigation systems, drainage, and maintenance.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of grounds facilities and equipment.
• Complete work orders; ensure materials and supplies are available.
• Train and supervise employees; ensure safety procedures are followed.
