Job summary

Edward Rose & Sons is seeking a Grounds Technician to join our on-site operations team in Lincoln, NE. The role focuses on maintaining the grounds, sidewalks, and common areas for a positive resident experience.

You will monitor irrigation, repair sprinklers, and manage lawn health, while coordinating with residents and staff. The position offers on-site work and opportunities for advancement within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Must be able to shovel snow and apply salt when needed.
• Able to work outdoors in extreme temperatures.
• Lift a minimum of 20 pounds and push/pull up to 80 pounds.
• Irrigation experience is a plus.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• General upkeep and cleanliness of the apartment community.
• Upkeep of parking lots, grounds, and common areas.
• Collect and remove trash as needed.
• Weed beds with appropriate tools.
• Monitor irrigation systems and water grass areas.
• Repair/replace sprinkler heads and lines as required.
• Report unhealthy vegetation to management.
• Edge trees and borders for neat appearance.
• Sweep or blow sidewalks and parking areas; other duties as assigned.
