Edward Rose & Sons is seeking a Grounds Technician to join our on-site operations team in Fort Wayne, IN. You will support resident experiences through lawn care, irrigation monitoring, and general property upkeep, following our dress code and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Shovel snow and/or clear ice in winter conditions.
• Work outdoors in extreme temperatures (above 90F or below 32F).
• Lift at least 20 pounds and push/pull up to 80 pounds.
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn software.

Responsibilities

• Maintain general upkeep and cleanliness of the apartment community.
• Upkeep of parking lots, grounds, corridors, stairwells, laundry rooms, and mechanical rooms.
• Collect and remove trash as needed; weed beds; monitor irrigation; repair/replace sprinkler heads as required.
• Report unhealthy lawn, trees, shrubs, and plants to management; edge landscape borders; rake and sweep sidewalks and lots.
