Job summary

Edward Rose & Sons, LLC is seeking a Grounds Technician to support on-site operations and ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents. The role involves groundskeeping, irrigation monitoring, and coordinating with residents and staff.

Responsibilities include maintaining landscapes, snow/ice removal during winter, and reporting issues to supervision. Candidates should be able to lift equipment, work outdoors in varying temperatures, and possess a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Ability to shovel snow and clear ice from sidewalks and driveways.
• Able to work outdoors in extreme temperatures.
• Lift at least 20 pounds and push/pull up to 80 pounds.
• Experience with irrigation is a plus.
• Maintain a professional appearance and dress code.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of the apartment community and surrounding areas.
• Upkeep of parking lots, grounds, corridors, stairwells, laundry rooms, and mechanical rooms.
• Collect and remove trash as needed.
• Weed landscape beds and edge borders for a neat appearance.
• Monitor and service irrigation systems and sprinkler heads.
• Report unhealthy conditions to management.
• Communicate with residents and co-workers professionally.
