Sims Tree Health Specialists, Inc. in Jurupa Valley, CA seeks a Grounds Maintenance Worker to care for a 6-acre garden and research facility while supporting ISA Certified Arborists at client properties. You will drive company trucks, maintain grounds, and assist with treatments and events.

Ideal candidates are proactive, physically capable, and comfortable working outdoors year-round; lifting up to 65 lbs and using power tools as needed. This is a full-time role.

Qualifications

• Proactive ownership and initiative in a decentralized team.
• Ability to work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Comfort operating power tools and groundskeeping machinery.
• Able to lift up to 65 lbs repeatedly.

Responsibilities

• Maintain lawn areas, trails, and garden beds using standard tools.
• Keep walkways and trails clean and safe by clearing debris and mulch.
• Monitor and manage garden irrigation and watering needs.
• Support daily animal care and habitat maintenance on site.
• Assist with events, parking, setup and teardown at the Learning Center.
• Assist arborists on client properties during treatments.
