Bell Partners Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to care for community grounds and property upkeep. You will work under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager to maintain cleanliness and landscaping across properties.

Responsibilities include debris removal, gutter cleaning, plant care, basic repairs, and assisting with vacant unit prep. HVAC/EPA certifications may be required depending on staffing needs. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of grounds keeping experience in a multi-family environment.
• 2+ years of landscaping experience.
• HVAC/EPA certifications may be required depending on community staffing.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the grounds of the assigned property.
• Keep the exterior of buildings and surrounding grounds clean.
• Maintain a landscaped look by picking up debris around buildings and breezeways.
• Clean gutters and perform basic maintenance tasks on tools and equipment.
• Plant and tend to flowerbeds, trees and shrubs; mow lawns; apply fertilizers.
• Handle pest control equipment and basic repairs as needed.
• Perform pool maintenance duties when required.
• Shovel snow and spread salt to prevent ice buildup.
• Assist with cleaning vacated apartments and common areas daily.
• Ensure amenities (fitness facility, bathrooms, laundry, etc.) are clean and orderly.
• Assist maintenance team with light work orders and painting; move appliances.
• Follow OSHA safety requirements and maintain regular attendance.
