Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Groundskeeper at Virage in Houston, TX to maintain community grounds, amenities, and curb appeal. The role supports the service team and requires outdoor work in all weather conditions, lifting up to 50 lbs, and operating a golf cart with a valid driver’s license.

Essential duties include trash removal, make-ready support, lock changes, door and pool gate safety, and timely resident communications, with emphasis on safety and responsive maintenance support.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required to operate a golf cart on property.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, reach, and work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Inspect the community throughout the day to remove litter and debris.
• Remove trash and prepare vacants for make-ready.
• Complete routine service requests and assist the make-ready process.
• Change locks and ensure pool gates operate safely and per codes.
• Distribute notices to residents as needed.
• Inform supervisors of hazards or risks to residents or staff.
• Provide courteous customer service and respond to maintenance questions and complaints.
• Attend safety meetings and comply with OSHA and safety-related policies.
