CABVI seeks a full-time General Facilities Laborer to support building maintenance, machine and vehicle operation, and grounds care. The role includes routine repairs, grounds upkeep, and assisting the Facilities team with equipment maintenance.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, one year of maintenance experience, a NYS driver’s license, forklift certification, and the ability to work in varying conditions, including evenings or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma/GED with at least one year building and machine maintenance experience.
• Must have and maintain a valid NYS driver’s license.
• Forklift certification and the ability to operate forklifts safely.

Responsabilités

• Perform routine building maintenance and repair tasks including carpentry, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing.
• Grounds maintenance to keep grounds clean, safe, and orderly.
• Operate and maintain grounds equipment; snow removal as needed.
• Assist the Facility Supervisor/Mechanic in repair of CABVI equipment.
• Work safely and adhere to regulations; back up for janitorial duties as needed.
