Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, with three years of skilled landscaping experience.
• Ability to lead work crews and fulfill physical/dexterity requirements.
• Valid Florida Driver’s license and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Responds to internal and external customers in a timely, courteous and empathetic manner.
• Functions independently or leads crews on district landscape projects.
• Performs grounds maintenance: mowing, edging, mulching and planting.
• Maintains equipment and inventory records and uses district tools safely.
• Operates OCPS vehicles with trailers and handles various power tools.
• Performs related facilities and trades tasks within scope of ability.
• Ensures cleanliness, safety, and environmental compliance on district property.
