Avenue5 Residential in Lewisville, TX, is seeking a dedicated porter to maintain grounds, common areas, and leasing office while ensuring the property presents its best curb appeal. You will interact with current and prospective residents, keeping spaces clean and safe.

This role emphasizes reliability, a strong work ethic, and teamwork; responsibilities include daily trash removal, unit prep assistance, snow and weather response, and maintaining a professional appearance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to read, write and understand English.
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license, clean driving record and current auto insurance is required.
• Ability to shovel snow, apply ice melt and operate a commercial snow blower.
• Must comply with all safety requirements.
• Professional appearance and prescribed uniform policy compliance.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to cope with and deescalate difficult people.
• Passionate for meticulous curb appeal.

Responsibilities

• Remove trash and other debris from office areas and property perimeter on a daily basis.
• Assist in the preparation of market ready units.
• Pressure wash exterior buildings, sidewalks, etc.
• Assist with property emergencies, such as snow removal and/or other inclement weather emergencies, fires, and floods.
• Clean available apartments and/or model homes and common areas of the community, as directed.
• Address property maintenance concerns related to inclement weather conditions.
• Promote customer satisfaction by maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and curb appeal, and interact courteously and professionally with current and potential residents always.
• Preserve and respect applicant and resident confidentiality.
• Foster a positive, active and collaborative relationship with residents, other properties and associated agencies.
• Clearly and immediately report any maintenance and/or life safety issues identified while performing regular assigned duties.
• Promote customer satisfaction by maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and curb appeal, and interact courteously and professionally with current and potential residents at all times.
