Avenue5 Residential is seeking a Porter in Kyle, TX to maintain grounds, amenities, building exteriors, the leasing office, tour path, parking lots and other areas of the property. The aim is to maximize marketing appeal while delivering the highest level of customer satisfaction.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license, with strong English communication, organization and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to read, write and understand English.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to cope with and defuse situations involving angry or difficult people.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Must maintain professional appearance and comply with prescribed uniform policy.
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license, clean driving record and current auto insurance is required.
• Must comply with all safety requirements.
• Ability to shovel snow, apply ice melt and operate a commercial snow blower.

Responsibilities

• Remove trash and debris from office areas and property perimeter daily.
• Assist in preparing market-ready units.
• Pressure wash exterior buildings, sidewalks, etc.
• Assist with property emergencies, such as snow removal and other inclement weather events.
• Clean available apartments, models and common areas.
• Address maintenance concerns related to weather conditions.
• Promote customer satisfaction by maintaining high standards of cleanliness and curb appeal, and interact with residents professionally.
• Preserve and respect applicant and resident confidentiality.
• Foster a positive, collaborative relationship with residents and other properties.
• Report maintenance and life-safety issues immediately.
