Job summary

Pike Corporation is hiring Groundman to support construction, repair and maintenance of underground electrical distribution systems. You will assist the crew under the Foreman, performing physical labor and adhering to safety protocols.

The role involves outdoor work in diverse conditions, travel for out-of-state assignments, and participation in outages or emergencies with an on-call rotation. CDL within 60 days is required, along with a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License; ability to obtain CDL within 60 days.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and work extended hours.
• Able to work out of state and during outages or emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Assist in constructing, maintaining and repairing underground distribution systems.
• Support installation of underground facilities, conductors and related hardware.
• Operate, maintain and transport excavation equipment as needed.
• Work outdoors in varying weather and emergency conditions.
• Follow safety protocols and wear PPE; participate in on-call rotations.
