Job summary

Pike Electric, LLC is seeking a Groundman to support overhead distribution work on our power grid projects in Temple, TX. You will assist the crew with construction, repair, and maintenance tasks while following safety protocols and reporting to the Foreman.

The role requires physical endurance, the ability to travel, and a valid driver's license with CDL within 60 days. You will work outdoors in varied weather and may be on-call for outages and emergencies.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License and ability to obtain CDL within 60 days.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift/carry/pull up to 50 pounds.
• Work extended hours including weekends, holidays, and emergencies.
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist crew in constructing, repairing and maintaining overhead distribution systems.
• Help install and repair power lines, poles, insulators, conductors and related hardware.
• Maintain vehicles, equipment and tools in good condition.
