Job summary

Pike Electric LLC in Asheboro, NC is seeking a Groundman to support overhead distribution construction and maintenance. You will assist the crew, perform physical labor outdoors and help uphold safety standards while reporting to the Foreman.

The role requires willingness to travel, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and working outside hours including outages and emergencies; CDL within 60 days is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to travel long distances on short notice.
• Work outside normal hours including weekends and overtime.
• Follow safety protocols and PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in construction, repair and maintenance of overhead distribution systems.
• Help install and repair lines, poles and related hardware.
• Maintain vehicles, equipment and tools in good condition.
• Work outdoors in varying weather and outage/emergency conditions.
• Report to the Foreman and work as part of a crew.
