Job summary

Pike Electric, LLC is seeking a Groundman to support crews in building, repairing and maintaining underground electrical distribution systems. You will report to the Foreman and perform physically demanding work outdoors, including outages and emergency callouts.

The position emphasizes safety, PPE use, and the ability to work long hours, travel if needed, and operate or assist with heavy equipment under supervision.

Qualifications

• The role is to assist crews in underground distribution construction and maintenance.
• Able to perform physically demanding tasks and operate hand signals in field conditions.
• Prior experience not required but willingness to learn and follow safety protocols is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist in constructing and maintaining underground electrical distribution systems.
• Support installation and repair of underground facilities and equipment.
• Perform equipment maintenance and operate heavy machinery as needed.
• Work outdoors in varying weather and comply with safety PPE requirements.
