Job summary

Pike Electric LLC is seeking a Groundman to join our field team supporting overhead electrical distribution projects. You will assist crews in building, repairing and maintaining power lines, poles and hardware while prioritizing safety and efficient outage response.

This role requires physical stamina, willingness to travel and the ability to work outdoors in varied weather. You will report to the Foreman and participate in on-call rotations as needed on outage and emergency assignments.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License required; CDL within 60 days preferred.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift, carry or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Work extended hours including weekends, holidays, emergencies and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Assist crews in building, repairing and maintaining overhead distribution systems.
• Help install and repair overhead power lines, poles, insulators and conductors.
• Maintain vehicles, equipment and tools.
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Participate in on-call rotation for outages and emergencies.
• Follow safety protocols and PPE requirements.
