Job summary

We Do The Search is seeking a seasoned Construction Project Manager in Reston, VA to lead multiple ground-up restaurant and retail builds from planning through completion. You will drive schedules, budgets, and team alignment, ensuring high-quality, on-time delivery for commercial spaces.

This hybrid role requires strong management of site operations, cost control, and collaboration with contractors, vendors, and clients.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in ground-up restaurant and retail construction (including tenant build-outs).
• Hands-on experience with construction management and scheduling software (Procore, Primavera, and Raken strongly preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle construction for multiple restaurant and retail projects, including schedules, budgets, and resources.
• Conduct site visits to enforce safety, quality, and code compliance.
• Monitor expenses and implement cost-control measures to keep projects within budget.
• Interpret and execute complex project blueprints and designs.
• Identify risks and schedule delays and implement effective mitigation strategies.
• Lead meetings and coordinate with contractors, vendors, clients, and internal teams.
