JRM Construction seeks a Project Manager (Ground Up) in New York City to lead on-site teams and oversee all phases from inception to completion. The role requires business acumen, strong leadership, and excellent communication skills to coordinate trades, subcontractors and vendors and ensure safety and quality throughout the project.

Qualified candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Construction Management or related field (or equivalent experience) and 5+ years in core/shell

Qualifications

• Requires Engineering, Construction Management or related bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in Core/shell and Interior construction.
• Understanding of construction disciplines, union/jurisdiction rules, cost control and scheduling.
• OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 Construction Safety certificates.
• 4-hour Scaffold User certification.

Responsabilités

• Lead a project construction team and oversee overall project direction and outcomes.
• Coordinate personnel and resources for the project and assist preconstruction efforts.
• Manage all project phases from inception through completion.
• Prepare and execute construction plans, bids, and procurement.
• Oversee shop drawings, submittals and coordination with subs and vendors.
• Plan project activities with the Superintendent and monitor schedule and cost controls.
• Lead project meetings and review safety, inspection data and compliance.
• Maintain relationships with designers, consultants and contractors.
