Job summary

JRM Construction Management is seeking a Senior Project Manager (Ground Up) in New York to lead project teams, oversee planning, scheduling, and financial outcomes from inception to completion. The Senior Project Manager is responsible for directing and mentoring on-site staff, maintaining client relationships, and coordinating with design teams and vendors.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s in engineering/construction management or related field.
Minimum 10 years in Core & Shell construction with completed interiors.
Experience with concrete high-rise projects ($50–$150M) and renovations.
Strong understanding of NY Metro market and construction contracts.

Responsibilities

Lead project team and manage project direction, planning, completion and financial outcomes.
Mentor on-site staff and maintain client relationships.
Develop project schedules, site logistics plans, and value engineering exercises.
Oversee procurement, bid packages, subcontracts, and descope meetings.
Coordinate shop drawings, RFIs, and document control across the project.
Attend and lead project meetings with staff, OAC, and design teams.
