Job summary

Blue Origin LLC in the Space Coast, FL; Van Horn, TX; and Huntsville, AL is seeking a Mechanical/Fluids Engineer (any level) to design, install, modify, analyze, repair and test tools, engines, machines, and other mechanically functioning equipment. You will develop artifacts across the development cycle to support hardware fabrication, assembly, verification, test and operations.

You will contribute to test stand design, support supplier coordination, and bring new test systems from concept

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in fluid/mechanical systems or test operations.
• Foundational knowledge of fluid mechanics, structural analysis, and system integration.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop fluid and mechanical systems for ground test facilities.
• Create and release engineering deliverables: P&IDs, models, drawings, eBOMs, analyses.
• Apply fluid mechanics and structural analysis to high-pressure and cryogenic systems.
• Design test fixtures and structural supports for test facilities.
• Support hazard analyses and participate in design reviews; assist PAR readiness.
