Job summary

Piedmont Airlines, Inc. is seeking a Duty Manager in Customer Operations for the Ground Handling Department.

You will oversee below-the-wing functions including baggage and cargo handling, cabin maintenance, and operating motorized equipment, reporting to the Department Manager, Customer Operations. Ideal candidates will have airline management experience and solid knowledge of AOA environments, with strong leadership, scheduling, and disciplinary skills to drive team performance across shifts

Qualifications

• Previous airline management experience and working knowledge of AOA environment.
• Proven success as a Team Leader with ability to preplan manpower and equipment.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Able to work well with all levels of management and support staff.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations in Ground Handling to align with company goals and customer expectations.
• Coach and provide career development to the team.
• Correct non-compliant behavior and impose disciplinary action as required.
• Integrate corporate culture, policies, and goals into daily routines.
• Manage operational activities of the department per established policies and procedures.
• Lead a team including unit managers, supervisors, and agents.
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports.
