Job summary

Swickard Auto Group is launching a Mercedes-Benz Van Center of Vancouver and seeks an Inventory Manager to build and manage Sprinter van inventory end-to-end. You’ll own records, ensure market-ready stock, and coordinate with transport, OEMs, and the service team.

You will shape inventory SOPs, drive accuracy, and support fleet operations at a new, luxury commercial center in Vancouver, WA, with growth opportunities as the store scales.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of inventory, title, or lot operations experience at a franchised dealership.
• Mercedes-Benz or luxury brand dealership experience preferred.
• Commercial vehicle or fleet operations experience a strong plus.
• Strong DMS proficiency with Reynolds & Reynolds or CDK recommended.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented; inventory accuracy is non-negotiable.
• Comfortable building processes from scratch as a founding team member.
• Clear communicator across sales, service, and vendors.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Manage all Sprinter van inventory -- new units, pre-owned vehicles, and upfitted stock; ensure records and pricing are accurate.
• Coordinate incoming vehicle deliveries and inspect new inventory from transport and OEM allocation.
• Maintain inventory records in the DMS with real-time status, location, and availability.
• Monitor inventory aging, turn rates, and mix; surface insights for pricing and acquisition decisions.
• Support fleet and commercial account operations; coordinate inventory availability and delivery timelines.
• Manage title and registration documentation; ensure clean title flow and Washington state compliance.
• Coordinate with service on pre-delivery inspections, upfit scheduling, and reconditioning workflow.
• Assist with auction activity, trade-ins, and pre-owned stock acquisitions.
• Help build inventory processes, SOPs, and systems as a founding team member.
