Job summary

Antech Diagnostics is seeking a Grossing Laboratory Technician I to prepare, trim, and process tissue specimens for microscopic examination by a pathologist. The role requires attention to detail, strong English communication, and the ability to follow SOPs in a fast-paced lab environment.

Shift is Tuesday to Saturday, with training held Tuesday to Saturday mornings. The position offers competitive hourly pay and benefits as part of a veterinary diagnostics company with global reach.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in science, Biology or Life Sciences strongly preferred.
• Coursework in anatomy/physiology required.

Responsibilities

• Meet minimum production standards for department.
• Identify tissues and prepare for pathology review.
• Produce accurate grossing notes with descriptions for Pathologist.
• Communicate with Pathologists and Lab staff.
• Cross-train across lab specialties.
• Follow SOPs and maintain clean work area.
• Assist with equipment maintenance.
