Antech Diagnostics is seeking a Grossing Laboratory Technician I to prepare and process tissue specimens for microscopic examination by a pathologist. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to follow SOPs in a fast-paced lab setting.
The position supports the pathologist team, with opportunities to Crosstrain across specialties and participate in lab maintenance, equipment checks, and timely communication with pathology staff.

Work Shift: Tuesday to Saturday 3:00am to 11:30am (5 Days)
Training: Tuesday to Saturday 5:30am to 2pm
The Target Pay for this position is $24.50 an hour.

The Grossing Laboratory Technician I prepares, trims, and processes tissue specimens for microscopic examination by a pathologist. High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in science, Biology or other Life Sciences strongly preferred. Coursework in anatomy / physiology required.

The ability to observe details at close range Extended hours may be needed Laboratory environments with potential biohazards present that are mitigated by the mandatory use of PPE Work under close to moderate supervision Potential for exposure to agents known to cause zoonotic disease in humans and use of potentially hazardous chemicals as defined by the National Hazard Communication Standards.
