Pet Supplies Plus is seeking a Bather/Student Groomer (Groom Tech) to join our team and learn grooming skills through the Paragon School of Pet Grooming. You will assist neighbors and their pets, bathe and trim dogs, and gain hands-on experience while training online.

We offer friendly, neighborly service, flexible schedules, and opportunities for advancement. A supportive team environment and paid training accompany a path toward becoming a full groomer.

Qualifications

• Experience with pets or in retail is a plus.
• Able to pass a drug screening where required and be 18+.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Delighting neighbors and pets with grooming services such as brushing, bathing, and trimming nails.
• Learning and demonstrating skills to become a groomer through the online distance program.
• Ensuring the wellness and safety of furry patrons.
• Developing relationships by understanding needs and recommending products and services.
• Performing routine cleaning to keep the grooming environment inviting.
• Completing Safety Training certification.
• Assisting store team members during grooming downtime.
