Pet Supplies Plus in New York is hiring a Bather/Student Groomer (Groom Tech). You’ll help neighbors and their pets with bathing, brushing, and nail trimming while learning the grooming trade through the Paragon School of Pet Grooming’s online program.

Upon hire you’ll receive a free grooming tool kit valued at over $600, and the store offers flexible schedules, employee discounts, and growth opportunities as you complete the training. Join a friendly team that makes pet care fun.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Able to stand and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to learn through Paragon School program.
• Able to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Pass drug screening where required.

Responsibilities

• Delight neighbors and pets with grooming services (brushing, bathing, nails).
• Learn skills to become a groomer through online distance program.
• Ensure wellness and safety of furry patrons.
• Develop relationships with neighbors and recommend products & services.
• Perform routine cleaning of the grooming area.
• Complete Safety Training certification.
• Assist store team during grooming downtime.
